SPACE FLYMAN!

a couple months ago, i posted the showa colorway of awesome toy’s space flyman & punch boy, sold exclusively through toy underground. i had been checking in every couple of months as i watched the stock dwindle— last time i had checked in, the “low stock” banner hung over the listing, tempting me to pull the trigger and buy the figures before they ran out. after adding them to my cart numerous times, and being turned off by the ship cost numerous times, i opted out and told myself that if they were still there at christmas time, i’d buy them.

lucky for me, the closest members of the fish clan came through for my birthday last month— surprising me before leaving for baltimore with the soft vinyl that i’ve been on the hunt for. seeing the colors pop in person added that much more charm to these knock off batman figures. now to decide whether they’ll stay in the plastic, or go up on the shelf.
