TRACKS ON REPEAT: REDEMPTION

There’s a lot to take from any given track you play— it’s on nathaniel rateliff’s first “just set me free” that makes me understand why i love this tune so much. i listened to this a lot throughout this year and i think it’s because i felt like i kept

dissecting just exactly what it made me feel— i didn’t have to look past much more than the title— redemption. there’s some novelty in the reminder that you make your own way and you pave your own road— at any moment, you have the ability to reclaim yourself, a good reminder for 2022. happy new year, folks.
