Taxidermy: Chamois Shoulder mount

I’ve been on a hardcore Americana kick lately with a fascination for mid-century modern mixed in with modern rustic. I overhauled my ceiling over the course of the pandemic and really made some interior design changes that I’m happy with.

I’ve been on the look out for a cool piece of taxidermy with no particular animal in mind— queue up the Chamois shoulder mount you see above— the Chamois is in the goat-antelope family and they’re found in the Alps =+ various other mountain regions on Europe.

I found this gentleman while scrolling Etsy who was located in Southern France— his name is Ed and runs the Etsy account FoundAndFlogged.
