HENRI HUET

while under heavy fire, Associated press photographer henri huet snapped this photo of unwavering dedication from medic thomas cole. wounded himself, cole peered beneath his bandaged eye to provide aid to a wounded marine. despite his injuries, he continued to aid his fellow wounded servicemen in vietnam central highlands in january, 1966.

the following year, huet was wounded and treated by medics until he was finally evacuated. in 1971, his helicopter was shot down over laos.
