HAPPY MONDAY!

hey kids, It was a long weekend so i don’t have much for ya. my eldest brother got married in a greek orthodox church and it was a seriously beautiful service. the reception was about 20 minutes from the church but it ended up being an absolute blast. it’s always nice to hear old family you haven’t seen in years tell you that you look like a movie star, even though you know they’re starting to lose eyesight. i opted for my two whiskeys at the beginning of the reception as i knew i’d have to drive my grandmother back home around 9 o clock. it’s tough to be in a room full of people casually getting more and more INTOXICATED as you’re getting and more sober— i think that was f. scott fitzgerald’s initial concept for the curious case of benjamin button but it just didn’t seem to stick. the early drinks also aided with wedding party photos— i like to think a few steps ahead at these types of social events.

i ended up heading back to the hotel to hang with my fellow groomsmen for a few hours before packing my bag and heading on home around 2 am— i was wide awake and i began to deep clean the kitchen which then lead me to disassembling the dryer an hour later. there’s been a squeak that’s been bugging me for months, and i figured 3 in the morning was the time to fix it. i woke up sunday, and plugged away at a few client projects— wrapped the night up with a gig poster for the big-league collective (shown above)

all in all, i’m grateful to be alive— & you should be too.
