EDC: LIGHTER CASE (DEATHRATTLE LEATHER)

I’ve always associated watches & lighters together when it comes to everyday preparedness. They’re both man-made tools that have drastically improved the way we access two natural occurrences— both time and fire. I’ve carried a lighter with me everyday since my days in the the good ole’ BSA— the good days before they filed for bankruptcy & no girls were allowed. I learned how lighters were tools, like pocket knives, with many different uses— you could sterilize a needle, fuse a rope, provide instant illumination, even use it create a diversion if you ever found yourself in trouble— you could have access to flame for whatever reason within a second.

I’ve never desired a fancy zippo lighter, the 99c BIC disposable lighters do the trick. The downside is they look like junk— unless you grab yourself one of these beautiful leather cases from Death Rattle Leather.
