WEEKEND RECAP

In my humble opinion, there is nothing worse than Monday morning— ever since I was a kid, I’ve always hated the late hours of Sunday as it’s a reminder that I am the furthest away from what is possibly my most favorite day of the week. There’s something about the beauty of a Sunday morning— the world feels blissful, and it serves as a time to reflect on the week to come. There’s no better way to get through Monday than reflecting on the time that just passed.

It was a real sound weekend— I played my best game of golf in a long while with Joe Fish over on Packachoag Hill in Auburn— it had been about two years since I swung a club, so I was pretty impressed to see my skill level didn’t change all too much. I spent the afternoon plugging away at some work for a client while binging Breaking Bad in the background (that show is absolutely wild & though the hype around it deterred me from watching it, the story reeled me right in)

Sunday morning, I cracked myself a six-egg omelette and poured some coffee— I flipped through this months issue of Popeye Magazine— the page layouts and the photography always fill me with some inspiration. Around 2 o clock, I stopped by a good friends house and we grabbed lunch together down at Scales in Millbury (1st fried clams of the season!) Ended the day by sketching up some of my own projects that I want to take a whack at when I find the time— I was also jamming to this wonderful lo-fi playlist that really got me in work mode.

Let’s hope this weather keeps up so I can make my way out of the house to shoot some film real soon!
