TUNES I WROTE: LUCHADORES

wrote this one in about 5 minutes while sitting at beside a fire the other morning— it came to me real quick, so i knew i had to record it before i lost the lyrics. luckily, i was pretty damn happy with how it sounded. I’ve got some minor critiques in certain places, but i’ll make those changes once i record this one in the studio.

luchadores

tell them all i’m on vacation

went out west to visit friends

had a dream i save the ozone

then i fought some mexicans

tell my mama i don’t need money

but her warm love might do a lot

looking back, i find it so damn funny

when she threatened to call the cops

tell them all i’m on vacation

went out west to visit friends

had a dream i save the ozone

then i fought some mexicans

broken hearts aren’t always hopeful

but in my own i know the truth

all my life i’ve chased some odd things

now i find myself chasing you

and in my head i’m fighting luchadores

and i’m dodging punches, 1, 2

but these dreams they do not bother me

do your dreams ever bother you?

tell them all i’m on vacation

went out west to visit friends

had a dream i save the ozone

then i fought some mexicans
