TRACKS ON REPEAT: Rest, ROSE

personally, i enjoy this blog segment— from your point of view, it’s like stepping inside my mind for the past week and grasping the lyrics that i’ve managed to get stuck in my head. with this tune, it’s the last line of the chorus:

“I have never died rose, but i’ve seen heaven before”

there’s something real beautiful about that line— the glorification of a person & comparing them to heaven is all too common— almost too easy, but there’s something real genuine in zach bryan’s delivery of those lyrics. give it a listen— it’s worth it.
