TRACKS ON REPEAT: using again

Benjamin tod is for sure a wild looking dude— neck tattoos and all. Growing up in TENNESSEE, he was expelled from school at the age of 14— he then began hopping trains to explore the country. through crowdfunding platforms, tod and his wife have released a handful of albums together.

this album, i will rise, is stripped down, recorded with two mics and no overdubbing— it’s production was incredibly STRAIGHTFORWARD, and you can hear it in this track. the writing comes across as intimate, with lines that provide intricate visuals— “The memories I've got torture my head, and I don't know God but I heard he was dead.” man, that sends shivers down your spine.

this is a track that i wholeheartedly enjoy— you should too.
