TRACKS ON REPEAT: MARINADE

everytime i had heard a dope lemon song, i knew his voice sounded real familiar. a quick google search led me to the associated act angus & julia stone— the two-piece sibling band. angus stone uses dope lemon as a moniker for his solo work which sounds a little more along the lines of pop rather than the traditional folk music he writes with his sister. this song is an absolute bop which i’ve been jamming to the past few weeks.

the music video is certainly an homage to wes ANDERSON'S moonrise kingdom— it’s incredibly well done & i absolutely love the PSYCHEDELIC animation drawn over the video— enjoy it!
