TRACKS ON REPEAT: BY AND BY

There was a point in time that I really despised live albums— I couldn’t really tell you why, but it felt out of my comfort zone to listen to. My thought was always “you perfected the studio version, why would I not just listen to that one?” but then I picked up a guitar and really started focusing on musicians performing in front of an audience. There’s a certain rawness about live music that you can’t quite find anywhere else— there’s no second takes, just pure heart and soul.
