i was talking to some friends the other day about how this whole album is crazy underrated— i think right behind julian CASABLANCAs’ crazy distinct voice identifying the strokes is albert hammond jr’s lead guitar sound. the guy is a real solid songwriter, and i love the expanded discography he’s given us from his solo work.
