TRACKS ON REPEAT: BILLY STAY

there’s absolutely no doubt that american heartbreak will be my most-listened to album when it comes time to review my spotify wrapped later this year— what my top 5 tracks are is going to be difficult to guess, but i do know this will likely be on there. take however many times you all think i’ve streamed this album, and then multiply by 100— your guess will be much closer to being correct. this tune is absolutely beautiful as it tells the story of an old woman watching her husband begin to decline as she reflects on the life-long memories they’ve made together— this is as wholesome as storytelling gets. i’m making a push to consume more positive media, and this certainly checks out.
