You run into a lot of problems with cologne-- i think it typically gets a bad wrap. In my high school days, kids without a dollar in their pocket were under the impression that the can of aerosol cologne from the bottom shelf at walmart would somehow score you ladies— it did nothing but leave this jank cloud of chemicals in the air with a hint of sandalwood (more like a tree shaped air freshener) So I had a personal beef with cologne-- until I discovered the magic that is solid cologne.

now me, I shower twice a day— and call me crazy, but those crazy hot summer days, i might even shower three times. but typically, it’s Once in the morning, and once at night. I'm not starting out my day by rolling out of bed and slipping on yesterday's pants, and I'm certainly not bringing my outdoor encounters into my bed when i get home-- my room is a sacred place, it’s where i get to maintain the most order. anyways, back to cologne. throughout my internet endeavors, i’ve been advertised grooming product on top of grooming product on top of grooming product— though i don’t like change, the UTILITARIAN AESTHETIC of duke cannon really caught my eye— the $ sent to veteran causes from every purchase was a double win.

I use bourbon & land depending on the occasion— each tin probably lasts me about 6 months, if not longer. I find it's not all too strong, it’s almost as if you used a real heavy scented soap, but not in an overpowering way— compliments have come from those who have been close to me, which further confirms it doesn’t overpower the room. i’ll dab tad bit on both sides of my neck as well as my wrists the second i step out of the shower— it’s just enough to be sure you smell your best throughout the day.
