INKTOBER INKTOBER INKTOBER!

alright, kids— papasan and i are going head to head in the month of october to see who can stick with all the prompts from retro supply’s fright-fall drawing challenge. i think he’s opting to mix it up both traditionally and digitally— i’ll be working between procreate and photoshop all month long. our personal rules are a time stamped instagram post by 10 pm, daily. whoever ends up dropping the ball buys the other a steak— if neither of us fail, joe fish buys us both a steak because somehow we roped him into this thing. we figured that if the guy likes to bet on the ponies, why not let him branch out?

i wrapped up day one to get an early start, but it wouldn’t surprise me if my dad wrapped all thirty-one prompts in an hour because he’s a damn workhorse. this is going to be the first time i take a whack at inktober— i think it’ll be something that makes my favorite month even better.

p.s.— the normal mix of blog posts will be taking a break for the month of october as they’ll be replaced with my daily instagram posts— including weekends! fear not, however! i’ll have a lot to say in november— the time should fly right by.
