here on the post, i like to think of myself as a true man of the people. most days, i try to deliver you my objective truth and i offer you guys full transparency. i promise i’m not a fed— this isn’t some big conspiracy operation. i’m a one man band who wears all the hats— but then again, that’s exactly what a fed would say.

listen, in light of my devotion to transparency, i’m here to tell you that there’s an inquiry. hold onto your socks.

hey man, i like your film portfolio a lot. what camera do you shoot on? what’s your favorite film stock? - tony

Thanks for reaching out, man! i shoot on my parents old ricoh kr-5. it’s a solid little camera that caters from 12-3200 film speed. i’m typically shooting in pretty bright, daylit conditions, so i primarily shoot on kodak ultramax 400 speed film as it seems to be the most cost effective. a few recent rolls i’ve shot have been taken on LOMOCRHOME METROPOLIS (color) & ILFORD HP5. (B&W) so far, the lomochrome has been my favorite stock, but i’m slightly offset by the price. i just tossed a black and white roll in the kodak m38 reusable point & shoot i just picked up— so i’m really excited to see how those negatives come out. if you’re looking for resources to get started shooting your own film, i highly RECOMMEND checking out SHOPmoment.com.
