golden age comics: wings comics #49

i’ve always been a huge fan of these old fiction house books from the 40s— the longer i take a look at the details in these covers, the more i find to love— the “you’re next” inscribed below the pilots window & his celebratory facial expression make me that much more attracted to the book.

this issue is from september of 1944, just near the end of the war. it’s one of the many pieces of history that i own & cherish.
