COMICS? A NEW LAYOUT?

well, friends— there is no denying that i caught the comic bug as this blog is touching on my own personal collection more and more. Squarespace has totally REDESIGNED their layout system and i’m looking forward to playing around with that to see what more can be customized on this website. i’d like some more uniformity to the blogs aesthetic & for the last two years or so, i’ve not put in a ton of effort— but that’ll change & I’ll continue to make improvements in my code-writing abilities to further reflect the authenticity of the blog. above is a quick little project i whipped together to start showcasing my comic collection— the background is the centerfold and the foreground is made up of my personal copy of the book, along with a few of my favorite panels. i think this’ll be a better way to highlight some aspects of the books while consistently maintaining order in the display of the book— it’s like building a digital collage, which i think is a ton of fun.
