street art is an interesting subject to me— my first exposure to the scene was through shepard fairey when i was maybe 13 or so. i find it wildly ironic that guys like shep will protest capitalism through their work & then turn wild profits on said work. but nonetheless, i respect him tremendously.

wall and piece is a book i’ve owned for years— i still pick it up with the same level of excitement as i did in the store all that time ago. the pages are laid out with all the thought provoking stories & images you’d expect from a guy who’s kept is identity under wraps all these years. it’s a wonderful insight into the world of graffiti that i can’t recommend enough.

you can pick it up on amazon, here.
