ART I DIG: freedom from want

NORMAN ROCKWELL

played a pretty integral part in my development and appreciation for all things americana— my grandparents had his work hung throughout their house and although i don’t think i appreciated it all too much in my younger days, i really began to love rockwell later on. i finally found the simple messaging in his work— his embrace of family, god, and traditional values made me start to feel nostalgic for times i wasn’t alive— and boy, did i grow fond of it.
