TRACKS ON REPEAT: NOSTALGIA

i played this album a bunch last week— after the fourth or fifth play, it occurred to me that there was a connection between current joys and surf curse— a quick google search taught me that nick rattigan (lead vocals) was involved in both, which explains my APPRECIATION for the two bands. he’s got such a distinct, new-wave voice that stands out like nothing else— they make nothing but feel good music.

i found this live performance of this track and it blew me away even more than the studio version— enjoy it!
